The definition of Art Installation in this context is the hanging or securing of art works that aren't framed pictures or canvases. In galleries and museums the term 'install' for an exhibition covers the moving and handling as well as the hanging of art. For us it is a term that covers art works that have unique or particular requirements for their display as well as large and heavy frame hanging.

We make on site assessments of art works and objects that require installation. Often art works come with an existing solution for their hanging and we can advise on the suitability of existing fixtures and where required suggest alternatives. Sometimes certain art works require bespoke mounts fabricated or stronger brackets made, we can source and arrange these with our partner businesses and industry connections.
+ What is your process when you come to perform the installation?
We arrive with a clean and organised professional tool kit for the installation and hanging of art works. We ask you to give us an overview of your hanging job and show us all the locations and art works. From there we can discuss placement, arrangement and hanging heights. If any items have special requirements we can inspect and discuss with you the best solutions. We make sure we work tidily producing minimal dust and mess and we endeavour to leave the location in the same state as we arrived by vacuuming any residual dust and returning all furniture to its original location.
+ Can you tell me how to display an art work?
Initially it is good for us to look at photo's to understand the context of the art work and the intended location. We can also attend your home, office or business location to provide an assessment and a free quotation for the installation of your art work. (We can provide quotations for jobs outside of London subject to a small charge to cover time and expenses)

We have contractors and freelancers that we can arrange their assistance for larger projects that require multiple personnel. We would usually need several weeks notice to make these arrangements.
